I find the fact that your most powerful supporters claim loyalty and pride as their reasoning... insulting. You are either qualified for the job, or you aren't, and no amount of smear tactics will blind the American people further to the real issue at hand: capability and planning. Do I think you are more capable to be president because you can land a plane on a moving ship? Hell no. I think you'd make a great soldier. But I doubt you'll be called upon to land a plane at all as a president. The people who are your staunchest supporters seem to have lost all touch with reality here--they are focusing on Obama's supposed Muslim ties (which are fabricated by your campaign and are insulting to the separation of church and state), they are focusing on your status as a war hero (admirable, but still does not tell me anything about you... why is it assumed that being a war hero means you actually were a war hero, given the US's history of representative figureheads rather than actual substance?), they focus on your bizarre ideas about deregulation and your flip-flopping grasping for any kind of solution, whether or not the solution has any bearing on economic principles. I'm surprised you are not only allowing this misdirection continue, you are actually encouraging and fostering it! In addition, you seem to have no connection with the issues you are supporting--half of them seem written in for you. Not being able to use the internet (because you are techno-illiterate, as you have claimed, and not because of some noble injury..... WOW some people are romanticizing here) is disturbing to me, since it is rapidly changing the way we give and receive information, it is shaping the way America and the world communicates with each other, and for you to be out of touch with that is representative of being out of touch with an entire generation. The country will be brought out of this crisis on the backs of that generation, so you'd better stop talking about things that happened before I was born (I appreciate the history lesson, but I would like a little more focus on the future), and start connecting with the people who can make or break your ability to enact real change in America. Obama might actually be reading these comments right now, might be trying to understand people want so he can represent that properly. You've admitted you won't be reading this. :( If people don't educate themselves about the real issues at hand, they will keep buying into whatever you tell them, like sheep. This election goes beyond party lines, and I think it's your responsibility to the American people to be more transparent, and more accountable. Please stop buying into the rampant ignorance going around, with these smear tactics. Focus on the issues!
