I posted the same thing to Bush and ...

I posted the same thing to Bush and Obama. This is an overall perspective of my feelings: Bush's "terms" in office is forever leaving a bad taste in my mouth. It will be nice for a change this November and let's hope it's not McCain. His proposal for change is very empty and very much the same as it has been for years, at the same time. Judging by listening to McCain's speeches, he would be no different than our current President who listens mainly to corporate feedback and NOT to the majority of PEOPLE in America. ...and Palin? it is definitely hippocracy for McCain to make stabs about Obama's lack of experience (which he has much more than Palin) and then choose for his VP running mate, a chauvinist in woman's clothing who has absolutely no relevant experience. As a free-thinker, at one time I swayed in my vote, yet as a major advocate for Planned Parenthood, human rights and environmentalism, I had no doubt who I would be voting for after McCain chose Palin to be his VP. Woe. I feel that Bush as President has made my America- country of freedom? a joke. America is no longer looked at as "the country with it all" so to speak. The next President has alot of respect to earn back for the US of A- not only from other countries, but also from fellow Americans. I am a supporter of our troops- but my support is compassion and empathy for soldiers who remind me of vulnerable animals only obeying the commands of their masters. I left my patriotism on the White House door mat approximately 6 plus years ago. Obama is definitely my choice for President. He is accused of not having all the answers, but I respect his honesty when he relays, in so many words, that it's impossible to have all the answers when there are so many possible outcomes. What I hear and admire about Obama is that he doesn't intend to be the savior- but that he promises to listen and keep his eyes wide open with compassion to America's needs. He seems like the kind of man, while working WITH the American people, he will get his own elbows dirty. From what I hear in his speeches, Obama continues to reinforce that we are in this together- he doesn't make me feel like a child that has to do and accept what I am told like McCain and Bush make me feel in their condescending speeches . Obama makes me feel like I have a voice that is heard, and that no matter what obstacle our society encounters, Obama promises to be the backbone of American people while we all work together as a community. Meaning to me that Obama realizes, like many average and not so average people, that strength exists in communities joining hands and working together- that we Americans need to take responsibility for ourselves to some extent and stand up for what we believe in and work together for change- rather than depend on a President to save us, while we follow him like a bunch of ignorant sheep, as he only leads us to more chaos.
